Rochdale Christmas Market, Lights-switch on and fireworks on Saturday, 25 November
Rochdale Christmas light switch on & Christmas markets, fashion shows, boutique baby sales, concerts, a knitted bible display, live bands and cinema shows - lots to do round the borough for all the family.

The Full Monty – Heywood Civic Centre, Fri 24 & Sat 25 7.15pm
Rochdale Musical Theatre Company presents The Full Monty for over 18’s only.

Christmas Market – Horse Carrs Coffee House, 10.00am to 3.00pm
Christmas Market stalls selling various gift items such as knitwear, children's clothes, dressed teddies and much more.
Dave Spikey: Juggling on a Motorbike – Middleton Arena, 7.45pm
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of his comedy career, in this show Dave will look back at his remarkable life.
A Reet Good Lancashire Neet – The Riverside (Whitworth Civic Hall), 7.30pm
A charity concert to celebrate Lancashire day.
Local carers can learn about the advice, help and support they are entitled to – The Royal Toby Hotel, 9.30am to 2.00pm
An event packed with useful information to help carers in their vital role supporting and looking after loved ones.
Live Band: Funk Soul City (Party Covers band) – Empire Rochdale, 8.00pm to 4.00am
Funk Soul City are a lively 7-piece band from the North West, bringing you classic Blues, Soul and Rock N Roll covers.
Whittaker Moss PTA Fundraising Fashion Show – Rochdale Rugby Union Football Club, 7.00pm
This is a fashion show with a bit of a difference… the models walk around the tables instead of down a catwalk! A fantastic night out for you ladies.
The Knitted Bible Display - Alkrington & Providence United Reformed Church, 10.00am till 3.00pm and 7.00pm till 9.00pm
We currently have 34 knitted scenes from the Bible on display. Entry is free.

Boutique Baby Sale – Rochdale Masonic Hall, 1.30pm till 3.00pm
We will be holding a fabulous table top sale of pre-loved quality baby and children's items. £2 entry, children are free.
Rochdale Christmas Market and Lights Switch On – Rochdale Town Hall, 1.00pm till 5.30pm
As darkness falls we'll be lighting up the spectacular town hall in a flood of colours, followed by the big switch-on and fireworks to officially open the festive season.
Live Band: Soul City Sounds – The Flying Horse Hotel, 10.00pm
Join us for another night of Soul and Motown!
Live Band: Transmission (Joy Division Tribute) – Empire Rochdale, 8.00pm till 4.00am
Devoted to recreating the atmosphere of a live Joy Division gig, Transmission emulate the sound of one of the most inventive, evocative and influential groups of their era.
The Jager Maestros Oompah Band Fundraiser – Littleborough Cricket Club, 7.30pm
Lots of fun raising money for B.I.R.D (Brain Injury Rehabilitation Development) who help Littleborough lass Debbie Ainscow, who suffered a devastating stroke.
An afternoon of Baroque music by Northern Baroque Orchestra – St Edmund’s Church Falinge, 2.00pm till 5.00pm
Join the northern Baroque Orchestra for their winter concert, in the beautiful setting that is St. Edmund's Falinge, a Grade 1 Listed heritage gem in Rochdale.
Littleborough Christmas Fair – United Reformed Church, 11.00am till 2.00pm
With the Wardle Community Band and a variety of stalls. Lunches will be served.
Cinema Saturday presents The Wizard of Oz – Rochdale Pioneers Museum, 10.30am till 12.30pm
Tuck shop available on site.
Cats Protection Rochdale Christmas Tombola – Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre, 10.00am till 12.00pm
Support our work with the cats of the Rochdale area and win all your Christmas presents at the same time!
Roch Valley Radio Quiz Night – Fairfield General Hospital, 8.00pm start
An evening to raise awareness, raise funds and a great way to promote the service that we provide to patients, staff and visitors.

- Sunday 26 November
Whitworth Christmas Lights Switch On – The Riverside (Whitworth Civic Hall), doors open 5.30pm for a 6.00pm start
Father Christmas will arrive at the outdoor stage at 6.00pm, followed by the competition presentation and the light switch on.
Save Samantha Mad Hatter’s Tea Party – Littleborough Cricket Club, 3.00pm till 5.00pm
Price will include afternoon tea, story time, craft corner, glitter tattoos, themed party games and there will be a competition for best hat or fancy dress (optional).
Live Band: Biscuit Face (the bands last ever gig) – Empire Rochdale, 6.00pm till 2.00am
Well known local 4-piece band who specialise in Rock covers. Please all attend and show your support and say goodbye to Biscuit Face.
Service of Thanksgiving for the Queen’s 70th Wedding Anniversary – The Heywood Pub and Heywood Memorial Gardens, 1.00pm meet
In Heywood the Lancashire Veterans Association and the Aden Veterans Association will be co-hosting an afternoon of entertainment and Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance to celebrate Lancashire Day.
