Engineering Visit

Five GCSE Engineering students had a taste of life as MAN diesel employees.

With Mr O’Doherty and Mr Pullan they visited the MAN Diesel Turbo’s Academy in Hazel Grove.

Along with students from other North West schools and colleges, they had the opportunity to design their own innovative plan to improve the lives of people in Greater Manchester.

They met the Sales Director for MAN and were spoken to by two of MAN’s apprentices.

Our students were then taken to the workshop area, where they could gauge the scale of the engineering that MAN Diesel undertake.
