Littleborough Christmas lights switch on

Date published: 06 December 2017

Scores of people visited the square in Littleborough for the annual Christmas lights switch on.

The colourful and decorative lights were officially switched on by the winner of the Littleborough Lions Peace Poster Competition on Saturday 2 December 2017.

Santa and his Elves joined in the fun with firefighters from Littleborough Fire Station, and a range of local talent could be seen with festive performances from Oakenhoof and Sing! Littleborough.

The festive sounds of Wardle Junior Blast and Littleborough Brass Band filled the air around as they played yuletide favourites.

A family fun fair provided with rides for all ages as stalls sold seasonal goods in the square.

The event is organised annually by LEAF, Littleborough Events and Associations Forum.
