Rochdale In Bloom feature to be showcased at Royal Horticultural Society’s flower show

Date published: 15 May 2018

A special Rochdale in Bloom feature will be showcased at this year’s Royal Horticultural Society’s flower show in Tatton Park.

The design and theme, in conjunction with Rochdale Council Environmental Management, is based on 100 years’ celebration of the end of World War One.

Paul Ellison, of Rochdale in Bloom, said: “Please come down and see the finished Blooming Border showpiece at the flower show.”

The team will also soon be revealing a 'pop-up garden', a larger, full-scale version of the ‘silent soldier’ garden next to the Gracie Fields statue in Rochdale Town Centre.

The flower show takes place between Wednesday 18 and Sunday 22 July and is open to members of the public. The first day of the show is members only.
