Lead nurse at Rochdale Infirmary to attend NHS 70th celebration event at Westminster Abbey

The lead nurse for the Urgent Care Centre and Clinical Assessment Unit at Rochdale Infirmary will attend the national NHS 70th celebration event at Westminster Abbey.
Gillian Fogarty was chosen to attend the event for her outstanding dedication and commitment to her job.
She said: “I feel it is an honour and privilege to have been chosen to represent the nursing profession and the NHS at the service at Westminster Abbey.”
The service will be attended by around 3,000 staff from across the country and representatives of charities, councils and other key partners who work with the NHS.
They will be joined by HRH The Countess of Wessex, Secretary of State for Health Jeremy Hunt and NHS England Chief Executive Simon Stevens.
