Castleton school’s safety presentations

Date published: 06 July 2018

The Friends of Castleton Station made a safety ‘On Our Railway’ presentation on Monday 2 July to pupils at St Gabriel’s Primary School.

Deputy Mayor Councillor Billy Sheerin gave the presentation to the whole school at assembly and the children were very attentive.

Using his well-known skills as an all-round entertainer Councillor Sheerin had the children joining in with great zest to the slide show and very quiet whilst watching the level crossing safety video with an enthusiastic “Stop, Look, Listen and Live!” ‘shout’ at the end.

The Friends of Castleton Station, all STORM members, will repeat the fun packed, but very serious, presentations at ST Johns Thornham, St Edwards and finally at Castleton Primary.
