Bin collections postponed

All bin collections scheduled for today (Tuesday 2 December) have been cancelled due to the snow.

Household waste collections due today will now take place on Saturday (6 December) at the usual times they are normally collected on Tuesday. Therefore, residents need to make sure their bins are presented for collection by 7am on Saturday. 

A council spokesperson said: "Between now and Saturday, we urge all residents affected to bring their bins back onto their properties and re-present them for collection by Saturday morning."

Rochdale Council has apologised for any inconvenience this may have caused.
