Talent needed for three feature films

Rochdale born the film producer and director Zafar Iqbal creator of the award winning of crime drama, Banana Boys, is on the look out for local talent for three new films. Mr Iqbal needs actors, actresses, film production crew, models, dancers, choreographers, singers, music directors, background music composers, media make up artists, hair and make up artists, fashion designers, website and graphic designers and extras. Mr Iqbal is also looking for sponsors.
The three films:
Earth VS Mankind™ (Working Title)
A British Thriller set in Rochdale. People are vanishing every second. No body knows what’s going on? Nobody has answers. Is this the end of the mankind? Why Earth is not happy with Mankind anymore? Now Earth has new employees: ZOMBIES. Will mankind survive? Will Earth be the same again? Will Mankind become human again? Please join us to protect mankind forever. The production and completion of this film will take place between Jan to March 2009.
My Big Fat Love Story™ (Working Title)
An awesome British Bollywood Romantic Comedy set in Rochdale. Meet one couple that is living on the edge. Meet one couple that is in present but their lifestyle is identical to 70’s. The narrative is based on British Asian and other cultures. The production and completion of this film will take place between April to June 2009.
Banana Boys 2™ (Working Title)
The sequel to 2007 audience favourite Banana Boys. A British Crime Drama set in Rochdale. Aslam & Liz had triplets. Their grandparents brought them up. They are out of control. Hard Core Crime is their passion, fun and full time jobs. Bonuses are out of this world. The production and completion of this film will take place between July to September 2009.

"I can’t wait to start these amazing productions, which also happen to be my second, third and fourth full length British feature films.
"These films will highlight British South Asian communities and other communities’ culture in a positive way.
"The narrative of these films will appeal to universal audience.
"These films will also represent Rochdale, Greater Manchester and North of England in a positive and very vibrant way.
"We want people and organisations to help us in any way possible.”
Sobia Andleeb: Chairperson executive producers of Desi Arts UK said: “Desi Arts UK is a not-for-profit Rochdale based short film production group. This is one great opportunity for all of us to learn and help the process of production and completion of three full length British feature films that are being made in our home town. The experience will be out of this world.”
“We would love to see local people from diverse communities and organisations to come to our production meetings. You are welcome to bring food, soft drinks, ideas, passion, helping hands, advice, voluntary financial contribution, in-kind contributions or whatever you can. We just want to see loads of people helping us to put Rochdale, Greater Manchester and North of England on a creative map.”
The first production meeting will take place on Friday 29 August, between 6-8pm at Castlemere Community Centre, Tweedale Street, Rochdale, OL11 1HH (01706 645 200). Light refreshments will be provided.
During this production meeting there will be an exhibition and screenings of recent productions.
