The Impact Partnership, a partnership between Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council, Mouchel Parkman and Agilisys that is tasked with delivering Highways, Property and ICT services to support the regeneration of Rochdale Borough over a 15 year period to April 2021, has announced that Chris Lavery has been appointed as successor to Gail Shadlock as Managing Director. Mr Lavery will start his new role on Monday 2 April.
Mr Lavery, who was appointed following an in-depth assessment process and interview with members and officers from Rochdale Council and Mouchel Parkman, joins the Impact Partnership from Hornagold amp; Hills consultancy, where he has been involved in both the public and private sectors covering Private Finance Initiatives, health, transportation, education, retail and property and leisure. He has a wealth of knowledge ranging from hands-on experience within the construction industry, through to high level strategic planning and management.
Mr Lavery will be based in Rochdale and says he is very much looking forward to meeting Impact Partnership staff over the next few weeks.
Departing Managing Director Gail Shaddock said: "I’m sure the staff of Impact Partnership will join me in welcoming Chris to the Partnership and in wishing him every success in his new role.
"I’d like to say goodbye. For me, the people and their relationships are the key to a successful team. I really do believe Impact will become a great company in Rochdale and beyond.
"I’ve always been massively enthusiastic about what the Council is aiming to achieve, in terms of regenerating the Borough, and it’ll be great to come back in a few years time to see what a fantastic "Impact’ has been made."
