Innes School children thank Rotary Club
Date published: 31/08/2006
When members of the Rotary Club of Rochdale took children from the Innes School on Kids Out, they did not expect a monster thank you. However, when a card arrived from the school it was far too big for the letterbox.
The card was shaped like a fairy tale castle at the Camelot theme park, and it was two feet tall. Children from the school had written their thanks inside and included photographs of their day out.
Dean Sherriff, President of the Rochdale Club, said: "It is pleasing enough to see how much the children get from a day at Camelot, but we’ve had the added pleasure of their thank you card."
