Fatal traffic accident on Milnrow Road

Traffic police were called to Milnrow Road following reports of a collision involving a man and a lorry this afternoon, Tuesday 12 September 2006.

Police went to the scene at 4.35pm where a 43-year-old pedestrian was found with fatal injuries.

The driver of the lorry, believed to be in his fifties, was not injured.

Milnrow Road is closed between Fishwick Street and Albert Royds Street.
