Appeal to trace family - can you help?

Australian resident John Knott is looking for his late sisters family who lived in Rochdale: Clive, Lynn and Sandra Brooks. Mr Knot says he would love to find them, especially his sisters grandsons.

Mr Knot's sister Mary, their mother, died in Rochdale when she was 23 years old and her family did not get a chance to get to know their Irish family properly.

Mr Knot says: "Clive Brooks lived in Norden with a woman called Cathy who has two teenage children who would be in their 20s now. Mr Brooks also used to run the Cots & Tots Nursery on Whitworth Road, Rochdale.

"Sandra, married to Chris Fearn, has one son, Martin, born 1982. Their last known address was in Firgrove, Rochdale."
