Raise your public transport issues in Rochdale

Date published: 10/06/2008

This weekend people in Rochdale can have a face-to-face chat with the managers responsible for running their public transport services.

Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority (GMPTA) and Executive (GMPTE) are hosting a transport drop-in session at Rochdale Train Station this Saturday (14 June) between 11am and 1pm.

Michael Renshaw, GMPTE’s Interim Service Delivery Director, said: “We want to hear from as many people as we can about their experiences of using public transport and what improvements they think we can make."

Representatives from First Manchester and Northern Rail will be attending, along with officers from GMPTA and GMPTE.
The event is the second of four to be held in Rochdale this year.

Michael Renshaw continued: “I’d encourage anyone with something to say about local public transport issues to come along on Saturday.”
