Find Fame This Summer at the M6 Theatre

The M6 Theatre Company Studio Theatre will become Rochdale's own Fame Academy from 2 August when it opens its doors for free summer workshops.

For aspiring stars aged 13-18, there's the chance to become the next 50 Cent or Jamilia. Black music group Urban Voice will teach urban music and singing Monday 2 - Friday 6 August.

And street and modern dance will be taken care of by Ludus Dance Company. The week ends with a performance in the brand new M6 Theatre Company Studio Theatre to an invited audience.

And Monday 9 - Thursday 12 August, the 8-12-year-old age group will get a chance to develop the next Basil Brush or Flat Eric with a puppet-making workshop. The workshops will also end with a performance to an invited audience.
