Oxfam in search of budding child stars to be the face of an exciting new major campaign

Date published: 09 February 2016

Ever wondered what it would be like to see your child’s name up in lights? Is your little one developing a big personality? If so, Oxfam needs you.

Oxfam is currently searching the length and breadth of the country for budding young stars, aged five to eight, to be the face of Dressed by the Kids Day, a new Oxfam fundraising event.

Dressed By The Kids Day, which launches in March and takes place on 29 April 2016, aims to unite families in a day of fun, by letting children choose their parents’ outfits for one day only.

This major new fundraising event will attract national attention, with the faces of the Oxfam campaign appearing on TV, radio and in print media. Oxfam is looking for confident chatterboxes, who have big opinions and love acting up in front of the camera.

The finer details of the event are under wraps until the grand unveiling in March, but in the meantime parents are encouraged to submit auditions for their child to become the face of this campaign.

To enter, send a short video (maximum 90 second) of your child describing their favourite fancy dress outfit. Perhaps you have a mini Spiderman on your hands, or another Elsa? No matter how wacky the wardrobe, Oxfam wants to hear from you.

Send your entry video, along with a portrait image and contact details to:

entries@oxfam.org.uk

Entries are open from Monday 8 February to Monday 22 February. An expert panel will select finalists and winners will to be notified by Friday 26 February.
