Police issue new Jack Stewart photo in a bid to find him

Date published: 10 February 2016

Police have released another photo of missing man Jack Stewart from Rochdale in a bid to find him.

Jack Stewart, 69, from Rochdale, was last seen on Ings Lane, Rochdale, at around 8am on Monday 8 February 2016.

He is described as white, around 5ft 9in tall, with brown and greying hair cut into a ‘teddy boy’ style.

He was last seen wearing a black quilted jacket, black jeans, striped socks and a dark coloured check shirt.

Detective Sergeant Louise Ashurst, of Rochdale division, said: “We are becoming increasingly worried about Jack as he was last seen on Monday morning and this is extremely out of character for Jack. He liked routine in his life and his family are concerned that he has not been in touch.

“He would often use local buses to travel to Rochdale Centre and I would urge anyone who has seen Jack to get in touch with police.”

Anyone with information on Jack’s whereabouts is asked to call police on 0161 8568471,101 quoting incident number 1604/080216 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
