Brides and grooms-to-be getting set for their big day at Royal Toby Wedding Fayre

Date published: 28 February 2016

Brides and grooms-to-be could be found getting set for their big day at the Royal Toby Hotel Wedding Fayre - the first one of 2016.

The beautiful Royal Toby Hotel in Castleton features a purpose-built function room - The Rhyddings Suite - that hosted the Wedding Fayre. With stunning crystal chandeliers and beautifully-crafted oak panelling, The Rhyddings Suite is also the perfect romantic venue for any special wedding day.

The Wedding Fayre played host to a wide selection of local bridal boutiques, florists, photographers, wedding cars, toastmasters, wedding cake bakeries, videographers, jewellers, wedding make up artists and entertainers, enabling brides and grooms-to-be to gather lots of creative ideas and even book aspects of their big day at the event.

Toastmaster Alan Calow said: "A lot of people have shown interest. It has been a most enjoyable day."

Grace McVey, of Be Beau with Grace, who has hair, beauty, nails and make up salons in Middleton and in Heywood, agreed, she said: "It has been a really good day."

The Royal Toby Hotel had its dedicated wedding planning team on hand to answer questions about ceremonies at the venue. Diane Lane said: "We host two wedding fayres a year, one in the spring and another in winter.

"Today has been very good, we have had hundreds of people come through the doors."

Diane explained that the Royal Toby also hosts open evenings on the last Thursday of each month, where the room is set out ready for a wedding and couples can view in a relaxed atmosphere.
