Date published: 04 May 2016

The family of James Feeney, who died following an altercation at a pub in Rochdale, have released a tribute.

James' family said: “Jimmy was a loving family man, his family were his life.

“His kindness and friendliness was known to everyone.

“Jimmy would steer away from trouble and enjoy life to the full. He loved horse-racing and football.

“This tragic event has left us all shocked, devastated especially as it happened during his 65th birthday celebrations.

“Jimmy’s wife Anne would like to thank everyone for all their help and support."
