Kyle Newlands charged after stabbing

Kyle Newlands has been charged after a stabbing on John Street, Rochdale.
Newlands (22/05/88), of no fixed address, has been charged with section 18 assault and possessing a taser firearm.
He has been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester Minshull Crown Court on 23/07/16.
A 41-year-old man was stabbed on John Street at around 9:50pm on Sunday 5 June.
He was admitted to hospital where he underwent surgery for stab wounds to the abdomen.
He is now in a stable condition, recovering at home.
