Car overturned on Rochdale Road
Fire crews had to free a driver from her car after it overturned on Rochdale Road on Friday night (22 July).
Emergency services attended the scene on Firgrove shortly after 9.00pm to reports that the woman’s Nissan Micra had crashed and overturned and that the driver was trapped inside.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service freed the woman her from the vehicle, whilst Greater Manchester Police briefly cordoned off the road.
The woman is understood to have no serious injuries, and the road was reopened within minutes.
