“Be What You Want To Be” At The Disco!

Date published: 28 October 2005

Jo Jingles, the franchised provider of music, singing and movement classes for pre-school age children is aiming for music chart success once again with the launch of a new CD single to support this year’s BBC Children in Need Appeal.

D.I.S.C.O., will be launched on 31 October 2005, and is a lively dance track endorsed by the BBC, and available in Woolworths, HMV and Virgin (not XS) stores, priced at £3.99.  At least £1 from the sale of each CD will be donated to BBC Children in Need so the company is hoping it will zoom into the UK Charts.  It has already received a great response at recent promotional events held at Chessington World of Adventures and Butlins Minehead.

Local franchisee, Jo Corbett explains, “In 2004 the company raised £31,000 nationally for the Appeal with a CD single release and a variety of other fundraising activities.  Last year’s single, Wind the Bobbin Up reached No. 21 in the Official UK Music Chart and No.1 in the Indie Chart and all without any national radio air-play!  So we’re aiming even higher this year!  The new release has something for all age-groups – D.I.S.C.O. for the ‘older children’ and our own version of Simon Says for our younger friends”.

Local children have already been having fun learning the dance routine to D.I.S.C.O. at their Jo Jingles classes and other fund raising events for this year’s Appeal also include ‘Bake a Cake For Pudsey’ all of the children attending local Jo Jingles classes have been issued with a pack containing Pudsey Bear bun cases and Smarties, they are going to have fun baking and decorating the cakes. The money they make selling the cakes to their family and friends will go to CHILDREN IN NEED.

So, if you would like to join in the fun and help to support BBC Children in Need buy D.I.S.C.O. and ‘Be What You Want to Be’!
