Date published: 26 October 2016

The Lol Goodman Band have signed a record deal with major label Right Track Records with distribution through one of Europe’s biggest music groups, Universal Music.

Jon Firth says: “The plan is to release two singles and the album, ‘Just Wanna Say’ and ‘A little bit more’ which is ‘Just Wanna Say’ with four extra tracks.

“The first release will be track one from the album ‘Don’t Go Fishing’ to go out on 25 November and it will be available on all the usual download sites.

“The record company’s promotion department has been plugging it for the last week with radio and music press.

“We already have confirmation that radio stations are going to play the single - Radio Wales (+interview), Radio Newark, Wythenshawe FM, Croydon Radio, Salford City Radio, Chorley FM, Vale Radio and Nick Dow of BBC Radio Lancashire played it on his long running blues show, Lancashire Bluenotes, last Sunday (23 October). He is also arranging for us do a live studio session with an audience sometime in December.”
