Man in stable condition after being taken to hospital with stab wounds

A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his back after an incident on Fleece Street, Rochdale at 2.50am on Saturday morning (26 November).

He is described by police as being in a stable condition.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Police have launched an investigation and enquiries are ongoing.

“Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting reference number 347 of 26/11/16 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
