Teenager taken to hospital with serious head injuries after collision at Hopwood Hall College

A young woman in her late teens has been taken to Salford Royal with serious head injuries after a collision at Hopwood Hall College in Middleton on Tuesday (18 April).

The teenager, thought to be around 18/19 years old, is understood to have been a pedestrian. She was involved in a collision with a motorcycle at around 12 noon.

A spokesperson for North West Ambulance said: “We received a call at around 12 to reports of an RTC between a pedestrian and a motorbike, involving a woman in her late teens. She has been taken to Salford Royal via ambulance with major trauma and serious head injuries.”

Police enquiries are ongoing.
