Support reminder for people affected by Manchester Arena attack
Date published: 29 May 2017
Anyone directly affected by the terrorist attack at Manchester Arena on 22 May who has not already accessed support is being encouraged to do so.
While those whose loved-ones were killed or seriously injured in the atrocity are already receiving support from specially-trained police officers, others who are directly affected – for example young people and parents who were at the Arena and may have had minor injuries or witnessed traumatic events – are encouraged to get in touch now, even if they do not currently feel the need for support.
Victim Support’s 24 hour, seven days a week helpline set up in response to the Arena attack can provide support and advice and signpost people to other organisations which can help them.
This round-the-clock helpline can be contacted on 0808 168 9111.
Please do not contact this number unless you were directly affected by events because you or loved-ones were there.
