Rochdale based Serious Brewing Company launches 'Golden Touch for Feel Good Festival

Date published: 07 August 2017

‘Golden Touch’,  the official beer for this year’s Rochdale Feel Good Festival, is brewed by Rochdale based Serious Brewing Company.

Inspired by the name of headliner Razorlight’s top ten single, the limited edition 4.1% pale ale has a crisp bitterness and fresh citrus flavour.

The beer will be available on draught from Thursday (10 August) at The Flying Horse Hotel, and at other local venues before being rolled out to other pubs in Greater Manchester later this month.

Husband and wife Ken and Jenny Lynch teamed up to launch the artisan micro-brewery in 2015, and it is the second time they’ve been asked to brew the festival’s official tipple.

Jon Hudson, from main stage sponsor The Flying Horse Hotel, said: “We’re pleased to be amongst the first to get the festival’s official beer for the second year; it went down very well last time and we’re all set for the weekend.”
