Robbers use chainsaw at Co-op in Milnrow

Robbery at the Co-op store on Dale Street, Milnrow
Three people robbed the Co-op store on Dale Street in Milnrow on Tuesday (15 August).
They broke into a cash machine using chainsaws and stole the cash from the ATM.
They made off in a white Vauxhall Astra two door.
A spokesperson for the Co-op, said: “There was an incident in the early hours of this morning – around 2:30am - when intruders entered the store.
"Police are investigating, and we appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
"The store has opened this morning, Tuesday, 15 August, to serve the community.”
