Milnrow Village Practice was recently ranked second in Greater Manchester and 45 nationwide out of 7,372 practices in the country.
The ranking, following a survey run by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the NHS, is based on the opinions of nearly one million users of practices across England. It covers everything from the trust patients have in their doctor and the attitude of reception staff to how easy it is to get an appointment.
Practice Manager Alison Wallace said: “We are absolutely over the moon with the results of the survey. The team have worked so hard in order to deliver the service that we do.
"We are a growing practice but we feel we do our best to get to know our patients and I think that is reflected in the results.
"Our patients are at the centre of everything we do, so it is important to get to know them so we can provide them with the best care.”
