Council seeking to recruit a further communications team member

Rochdale Borough Council is advertising for a 'Digital Development Officer' to join its communications department.

With a salary from £24,000, the successful candidate will be be 'expected to play a key role in producing outcome-driven website content on the Council’s corporate website/s'.

They will join a 'Digital Services Team where genuine passion and enthusiasm for raising standards, reputation and exceeding customer expectations is...', it is claimed, 'the norm'.

This time last year, Rochdale Online revealed the Council communications team had cost local taxpayers over £1.1million in three years.
