Chef Andrew Nutter
Local celebrity chef Andrew Nutter was rushed to hospital with a ruptured intestine on Christmas Eve.
Mr Nutter was subsequently transferred to North Manchester General with the ruptured intestine infecting his blood.
The former Savoy Hotel chef gave four boxes of festive treats to the hardworking nurses Pennine Acute.
Despite the scare, the Christmas Eve extravaganza at Nutters restaurant continued and messages of support flooded in online, including from Mr Nutter’s own ‘culinary hero’, Michel Roux Jr, who said: “Get well soon chef, best wishes.”
Mr Nutter thanked everyone for their kind messages of support from his hospital bed.
