Local Labour Party activists protesting NHS 'cuts and privatisation'
Labour Party activists from Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale were out on the streets of Middleton on Saturday (6 January) protesting about National Health Service "funding cuts and privatisation".
As well as handing out leaflets and chatting to members of the public, the activists gathered hundreds of signatures in support of their campaign.
A spokesperson for the group said: "The event was in response to warnings from health professionals, unions and medical groups that the NHS is approaching a state of crisis."
