Classy model at classy hotel for fashion photo shoot

Date published: 13 February 2018

The latest in a photographer's series of fashion photo shoots using local locations to help promote the town took place at a Castleton hotel on Sunday.

Photographer Malcolm Journeaux teamed up with model Sam Briony for the photo shoot at the Norton Grange Hotel.

Though Malcolm often works with a team, this shoot was just the two of them, with Sam doing her own hair and make up.

One of the dresses (below) was provided by Kelly Turner, owner of 25Ten Boutique in Littleborough.

Malcolm, who has previously used Rochdale Town Hall, The Shippon at Ogden, The Empire in Rochdale town centre, Hollingworth Lake, and Number One Riverside as locations, said he chose the Norton Grange as he was aware it has recently had a 'makeover' and felt the 'classy' hotel would be ideal for a 'classy model' in Sam.

Malcolm added: "This photo shoot was much simpler in organisation than the majority of my photo shoots but the combination of a beautiful model in a superb hotel location has made for some fabulous photos."

Sam said: “The shoot went really well and I really like how the images have turned out, especially the image in the blue dress.

“I chose that dress due to its shape and colour and I think it looked really elegant on the day.

“The Norton Grange is absolutely gorgeous.”
