Local pensioner receives suspended sentence for indecent assault

A local pensioner has received a suspended sentence for two counts of indecent assault on a female.
Kenneth Hardacre (DOB 18.04.1932), of Spring Bank Lane, Rochdale, pleaded guilty to the charges after appearing at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court on Monday (5 March).
He received 12 months’ imprisonment suspended for two years for the first charge, and 12 months’ consecutive imprisonment, suspended for two years, for the second charge.
The court also agreed four other charges would remain on file, three of indecent assaults on a female, and one of rape.
