Child Sexual Abuse: Cambridge House/Knowl View report being published 12 April

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse will be publishing its report into the investigation into Cambridge House Boys’ Hostel, Knowl View School, and Rochdale Borough Council on 12 April.

The investigation examined the allegations made about the sexual abuse and exploitation of children at Cambridge House Boys’ Hostel and Knowl View School in Rochdale. Former Liberal Party MP, Cyril Smith, had been named as one of the alleged abusers.

The Inquiry also considered the extent to which institutional failings may have allowed the sexual abuse and exploitation of vulnerable children.
