Rochdale man sets Guinness World Record for tallest tortilla stack

Date published: 19 April 2018

A Rochdale man has set a new Guinness World Record for the tallest tortilla stack.

To win the title, Joy Mahbubal Ehsan painstakingly stacked 389 tortillas atop each other to set the 68.5cm high record at the Baab-e-Salaam Banqueting Hall in Salford on 26 August 2017.

He is understood to have received his world record certificate in April 2018.

The previous record was held by news website Mashable, who broke a seven-year British record in Texas in March last year.
