Healthwatch Rochdale has won the competitive tender to be recommissioned to provide the Healthwatch service for the people of the Rochdale Borough for the next three years.
Healthwatches are the independent local champions for people who use health and social care services. They are there to make sure that those running services, and the government, put people at the heart of care.
Kate Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Healthwatch Rochdale, said: “Over the last three years Healthwatch Rochdale has represented people’s views to service providers and commissioners across the Borough.
“We are proud to have been recommissioned to carry on the work of ensuring the voices of Rochdale people are heard in times of change and integration of health and social care services in Rochdale.”
