People of all ages enjoyed the sunshine, music, and lots of fabulous food at Rochdale Street Eat Festival this weekend in Rochdale Town Hall Square.
The event brings together the town’s food and drink establishments, with dozens of mouth-watering dishes at £3 each, including Spanish, Italian, English, German, American and more.
There were activities and rides for the children, a bar for the adults and live entertainment for everyone throughout both days hosted by Revolution 96.2.
Adult and children's choirs entertained the audience, plus music from Noel Fraser, Paddy O'Hare, Between The Vines, finishing with Indigo Sunset.
Medicine Tap owner John Stoner said: “It’s great, we all benefit when there is something happening in the town centre.”
Hayley Bee from Cock-a-doodle-Moo said: “It’s been better than last year. We were very busy yesterday right from the start.
“We had people here for lunch and were open till around 8.30pm.”
Paul Ambrose, from Rochdale Town Centre Management, who organised the event, said: “It’s been brilliant, the weather has been great.
“It’s all positive, bringing the traders of the town centre together.”
Danny Redanobic and Tracy Doheny from Quirky Kitchen said: “We’ve been very busy, but we have kept the menu nice and simple this year, doing roast beef wrapped in a Yorkshire pudding and sticky toffee pudding which has gone down really well.”
