Fond farewell to Nicky Bamford

Rochdale Online message board members organised a night out on Thursday (20 September) to say a fond farewell to Nicky Bamford who is leaving Rochdale this weekend to take up a place reading English at West Sussex University - serious ill health prevented her from taking up the place in 2006.

Now well again, Nicky was delighted to share a final evening with her "Online’ friends and arrived for the evening at Zeera’s in Castleton in style, chauffeur driven in a Bentley.

Good food, good company and a few drinks were enjoyed by all summed up by Glenys Harrison (Rainbow Lady on the message board) when she said: "Thanks to one and all for making the evening so enjoyable. We had a great time and wish Philosteen (Nicky) all the best in her new life."
