Appeal to help trace missing girl

Date published: 29 February 2008

Police are appealing for help in tracing a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since last Friday, 22 February.

Lisa Jenkins was last seen at the care home where she lives in Newhey, Rochdale, at about 10.30pm that night.

Lisa is of slim build, about 5ft 5in tall with brown, collar-length hair, green eyes, glasses and speaks with a local accent.

When she left she was carrying a suitcase which was believed to contain an orange and white T-shirt, a red jacket, white shorts, a white jumper and a black jumper.

Police are concerned for Lisa's welfare due to her vulnerable age.

Officers believe Lisa could be in any part of Greater Manchester, however she is known to have connections in Stockport and South Manchester.

Anyone with information about Lisa's whereabouts is asked to call police on 0161 872 5050 or PC Leo Glossop on 0161 856 4638.
