National Play Day is coming to Rochdale

National Play Day is the annual celebration of children’s rights to play. It is a national campaign where thousands of children and young people get out and play at local events.

On 1 August between 10:30am and 3:30pm Rochdale Play Development Team will be reclaiming the Esplanade for play.

There will be a wide variety of free activities for children and young people to participate in, including arts and crafts, hopper racing, street games, music, climbing wall, giant board games, storytelling, sensory garden, samba, horse amp; cart, street games, table football and much more.

Everyone is welcome.
