Child porn probe sent to Plymouth

A Rochdale man accused of possessing child pornography will be tried in Plymouth, alongside a female nursery worker.

Littleborough man Colin Blanchard, and Plymouth nursery worker Vanessa George, are both accused of being involved with extreme pornographic images of children.

Mr. Blanchard appeared at Manchester Minshull Street Crown yesterday (Tuesday 23 June), where he was told his case would be sent to be tried alongside the nursery worker in September.

Mr. Blanchard has been remanded in custody in Manchester.

He is charged with four offences, three of which are over indecent images of children.
