Man bottled in town centre

A man was struck with a bottle in Rochdale town centre yesterday afternoon.
The victim was taken to hospital, where he was treated for cuts to his head and neck.
Police found the 28-year-old victim in Broadfield Park.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been bailed until 20 October pending further inquiries.
