Date published: 13 November 2009

Police are appealing for the public's help in tracing three people who are wanted on recall to prison.

Mamod Korbani (01/03/1977) of Rochdale, sentenced to four years and eight months in prison in August 2006 for causing actual bodily harm and for causing a woman to engage in sexual activity without consent.

Korbani was released on licence but breached his terms in April 2009.

Dawn Russell (05/05/1972) of Whalley Range, was convicted in November 2007 in Bradford, West Yorkshire for causing actual bodily harm and robbery. She was sentenced to four years in prison and released on licence in July 2009.

She has since breached the terms of her licence.

Michael Blinkhorn (16/06/1986) of Fallowfield, was convicted in November 2007 for possession of cocaine with intent to supply and was sentenced to 32 months imprisonment.

Following his early release on licence he has breached his conditions.

Police Constable Dale Chadwick of Longsight Police Station said: "These three people need to be caught so they can be taken back to serve their sentences.

"They have each breached their licences, foregoing their freedom and I would ask if anyone knows of their whereabouts to get in touch."

Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 4153, through GMP's Wanted Website on www.gmp.police.uk/wanted or call the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Again I have to ask the question as to why they were released before the end of their imposed sentence. If they had served their full sentence our police force wouldn't have to spend more resources on catching these poeple.

Simple answer to this problem is stop letting criminals out early
