A Night at the Opera

The Rotary Club of Rochdale hosted a Night at the Opera at the Bellavista Restaurant in aid of the Mayor's charities.

After Prosecco and canapes on arrival, the Master of Ceremonies, John Kay of the Rotary Club of Rochdale, welcomed the guests and introduced the programme for the evening.

Guests enjoyed a 5 course dinner of Salmon Tartare, Ribollita, Beef Wellington, mini Creme Brulee, Bailey's profiterole, fruit tart, coffee and biscuits.

Entertainment came from Opera North - Ben Johnson (tenor) Emma Johnson (soprano) accompanied by Sue Leyton (piano) - and Rochdale's singing Mayor, Councillor Keith Swift accompanied on piano by Peter Taylor.
