This Sunday (21 March 2010) Daring Rochdale Online reporter Laura Wild will jump out of a plane from 10,000 feet in a tandem skydive to raise money for Springhill Hospice.
Laura has now passed the £600 sponsorship mark thanks to kind donations made by Rochdale Online readers.
Laura said: “Our readers have been tremendously encouraging and supportive because they know what a good cause it is.”
“Lots of local people know of Springhill Hospice and the great things they do. It will be a pleasure to be able to give them my generous sponsorship money.”
“I am not nervous, yet and I really hope the weather holds out for Sunday.”
