Man assaulted on Spotland Road

A man was left with minor injuries after being assaulted on Spotland Road yesterday (Sunday 5 September 2010).
The road was taped off by police between the junctions of Clement Royds Street and Sherrif Street.
A police spokesperson said: “The victim was hit by an object on Spotland Road.
"Inquiries are on going.”
