Bin collection suspended

All scheduled waste collections including Bulky collections have been suspended today (21/01/2013).
This affects collections in Rochdale/Heywood and Middleton along with hard to reach areas.

Maybe RMBC should get the bin crews clearing snow and spreading grit!
Here we go again, like a stuck record - is it health and safety they are blaming it on this time or another supposed cost saving? Fit them with snow ploughs or fill the back of them with grit and send the bin men out with shovels. What are they doing while it's "too dangerous?"
Already on high salaries for doing nothing, why didn't the councillors use their brains? But that's the point, they have no brains, the little brain they do have is so full of greed and staying in power.
