Mothercare to close

In the latest blow to Rochdale Town Centre the Mothercare store on Yorkshire Street is to close down on 19 April 2013.
A Mothercare spokesperson said: "We can confirm that the Mothercare store in Rochdale will close on 19th April 2013. The closure of this store is in line with our current portfolio plan.
"We hope this has not upset any customers and that they will continue to shop at our Mothercare store Bury (1A Union Street, Bury, Lancashire, BL9 0NY) and via our website www.elc.co.uk 24 hours, 7 days a week. Customers can also shop direct from our catalogue 0871 231 3511.
