International artists perform at Rochdale Sufi music concert

Qari Waheed Chishti and band, who are international Sufi artists from Pakistan, performed in a concert at the Multicultural Arts and Media Centre (MAMC) in Rochdale on Wednesday 5 September.
The Sufi Music Concert, organised by MAMC, was thoroughly enjoyed by over one hundred people from the borough and beyond.
A spokesman for MAMC said: "We also carried out a consultation with the audience to identify any training and events for the BME community.
"Many of the attendees felt that cultural events are important to share and enjoy and MAMC is well placed to meet their needs."
