Half term fun at Dale football courses

Over 130 children attended Dale fun courses across Rochdale this February half term, organised by Rochdale Football Club.

In total three courses were held over the half term week at Soccer Factory, Wardle High and Siddal Moor Sports College.

As part of the courses, children at the Soccer Factory were treated to a visit from Dale players Brian Barry-Murphy and Graham Cummins, who were on hand to offer coaching tips followed by a chat about recent events at Dale.

Josh Lillis and Robbie Thomson also took time out of their busy schedule to take in activities at Wardle High School.

At the end of each course, awards were handed out to those in attendance. Awards handed out included most improved, star performers, skills winner and personality.

Skills Winners: Curtis Newsham, Callum Hoolickin
Personalities: Isaac Kershaw, Robert Johnson

Siddal Moor Sports College
Most Improved: Harrison Davis, Kian Bell
Star Performer: Charlie Healey-Clements, Kaiden Bell
Skills Winner: Jordan Woodall, Thomas Watters
Personalities: Oliver Simpson, Sam Davis

Wardle High School
Most Improved: Ben Hankinson
Star Performer: Cameron Smith
Skills Winners: Luke Harrison, William Blair
Personality: Thomas Clegg

At the end of the week the children who attended were given a ticket for Rochdale’s home match as well as receiving a certificate of attendance and an autographed Dale football.
